These terms apply when you use the Vellarist online store or purchase products from us. By placing an order, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a contract and that the information you provide is accurate.

Product information

We take reasonable care to present product descriptions, dimensions, finishes and images accurately. Colours may vary slightly because of screen settings, lighting and natural material variation. Check product dimensions and installation requirements before ordering.

Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to purchase. An automated acknowledgement confirms receipt but does not necessarily mean the order has been accepted. A contract is formed when we confirm dispatch or otherwise expressly accept the order. We may decline or cancel an order where a product is unavailable, information or pricing is incorrect, payment cannot be authorised, or fraud is suspected. Any payment already taken for a cancelled order will be refunded.

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless stated otherwise. Delivery charges and any applicable taxes are shown before payment. Please also read our Payment & Billing Policy.

Delivery

We currently deliver within the United Kingdom. Delivery services, charges and estimates are described in our Shipping Policy and at checkout.

Installation and safe use

Hardwired lighting must be installed by a suitably qualified electrician in accordance with the supplied instructions and applicable requirements. You are responsible for checking that a product is suitable for the intended location and electrical supply.

Returns and cancellations

Our Refund Policy explains the 30-day return process. Nothing in these terms limits cancellation, refund or other rights available to consumers under applicable UK law.

Faulty products

Products must be as described, fit for purpose and of satisfactory quality as required by law. Contact us promptly if you believe a product is faulty so that we can assess the appropriate repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or breach of applicable consumer rights. Subject to that, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was formed or for business losses arising from a consumer purchase.

Intellectual property

The store design, branding, text, graphics and other content are owned by or licensed to Vellarist and may not be copied or commercially reused without permission.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the United Kingdom country in which you live. You may bring proceedings in the courts available to you under applicable consumer law.
