Payment & Billing Policy

This policy explains payment, pricing and billing practices for purchases from Vellarist.

Currency and prices

Store prices are displayed and charged in pounds sterling (GBP) unless checkout clearly states otherwise. The product price, delivery charge and any applicable taxes are shown before you submit payment. Standard tracked UK delivery is currently free.

Accepted payment methods

The payment methods available for an order are those displayed at checkout. Availability may depend on your device, location, order value and the payment services enabled at the time of purchase.

Payment authorisation

When you place an order, your payment provider may authorise or charge the amount shown at checkout. An order acknowledgement confirms receipt of your order but does not necessarily confirm acceptance. If we cannot accept an order after payment has been taken, we will issue a refund to the original payment method.

Billing information

You must provide complete and accurate billing and contact information. Your payment provider may decline a transaction where the billing details do not match its records. Contact us promptly if you notice an error, although we cannot guarantee that information can be changed after processing begins.

Payment security

Checkout and payment processing are provided through Shopify and enabled payment providers. We do not receive your complete payment-card number. Payment providers may apply authentication, fraud-prevention and security checks.

Failed or declined payments

If payment is declined, check the details entered or contact your bank or payment provider. We cannot override a payment provider’s decision. An order is not complete until checkout confirms it.

Unexpected or duplicate charges

Some pending authorisations are temporary and may disappear automatically if an order is not completed. If you believe you have been charged incorrectly or more than once, contact us with the order number, date, amount and payment method. Do not send complete card details.

Refunds

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Your bank or payment provider may require additional processing time after we issue the refund. Please read our Refund Policy for return eligibility and procedure.
